Pause, Breathe, Speak — A Simple Habit to Change

One simple habit has changed how I communicate: pausing before I speak. Taking a moment to breathe gives me space to respond with calm and thoughtfulness instead of rushing into a reaction.
Slowing down helps soften my tone and opens up better conversations — even when things get stressful.
Try this today: When you feel tension building, pause and take 3 deep breaths before you say anything. Notice how it changes your words and the energy around you.
