Healing Starts with Awareness

Wellness Wednesday

Our past experiences don’t just live in our memory — they can live in our bodies, habits, and daily choices.

Unspoken grief. Old disappointments. Lingering shame. If we don’t deal with them, they show up in our stress, our sleep, even how we treat people.

But here’s some good news:
Acknowledging your past doesn’t make you weak — it makes you stronger. It’s the first step toward real wellness.

Try this simple wellness practice today:

  • Set a timer for 10 minutes.

  • Write down one past situation that still affects you.

  • Then write down how it made you feel — and one step you can take to let some of it go.

Even if the step is just talking about it or breathing through it — that counts.

Wellness Tip: Journaling can help reduce anxiety, improve mood, and unlock new clarity.

You are allowed to grow beyond what happened. You don’t owe your past the rest of your future.
