Fitness Friday: Stop the Mental Fog

Happy Friday,

Today isn't just another Friday, it's a chance to move, energize, and remind yourself of your own strength.

I want to speak to those of us who are mentally drained from a week of making decisions, advising others, and carrying heavy responsibilities. When your mind is tired, your body often follows. It's easy to want to skip the workout and just collapse.

Personally? On days when my advisory work or family needs have left me mentally wiped, I used to think I needed rest. But what I actually needed was a reset. Even a 10-minute burst of intense movement breaks the mental fog and reminds me that my physical strength can fuel my mental clarity.

Fitness Friday: The 10-Minute Power Boost Do 3 rounds of this circuit (rest 60 seconds between rounds):

  • 15 squats ("I am grounded and growing.")

  • 10 push-ups ("I am stronger than I think.")

  • 20 mountain climbers ("I move toward my goals.")

Finish with 3 deep breaths. Say to yourself: "I am capable and I will finish strong."

Mind-Body Reminder Movement isn't punishment, it's a gift that restores your mental edge. Remember, your body is a temple, so treat it with respect.

Your Next Step Go move! Even 5 minutes counts. Have a powerful weekend!
