Fitness Friday: Stop letting the voice of doubt win.

Happy Friday,

I want to speak to those of us who have been skipping workouts or feeling low energy, not because you lack time, but because you lack the mental will to start. It's easy to let that little voice of doubt—that inner critic—talk you out of a workout the minute it feels challenging.

Personally? When I hit the wall during a tough run or a heavy lift, I used to let my inner critic take over. Now, I interrupt it with affirmations. I remind myself that the struggle is temporary, but the strength is permanent. Interrupting that negative self-talk is the most important set you'll do all day.

Fitness Friday: The Mental Endurance Circuit Do 3-4 rounds of:

  • 20 jumping jacks ("I bring energy to my body.")

  • 30-second plank ("I can hold my ground.")

  • 10 push-ups ("I am stronger than I think.")

  • 20 mountain climbers ("I move toward my goals.")

Finish with 3 deep breaths. Say to yourself: "I am resilient and I never quit."

Mind-Body Reminder Movement is a chance to practice perseverance. Your physical strength is a mirror for your mental and spiritual strength, so use it to your advantage.

Your Next Step Focus on your affirmation every time you feel like stopping today. You can do this.
