The Consistency Flow: Basic Bodyweight Workout #1
When I first started my business, I ran on pure adrenaline. Huge bursts of 18-hour days, followed by weeks of paralyzing self-doubt and burnout. I confused high intensity with genuine commitment. I treated my business and my body the same way—quick fixes, not durable foundations.
Fitness, like success in business or marriage, is built with repetition, not revolution. Today's workout is dedicated to demonstrating your commitment to the long game. Focus on good form and steady effort—the physical parallel to building consistent character and strength.
The 15-Minute Consistency Flow
Perform each exercise for 40 seconds, followed by 20 seconds of rest. Complete 3 full rounds.
Controlled Squats: Go only as low as your form allows. Self-awareness is key to consistency.
Kneeling Push-Ups: Maintain a straight line. The commitment is to form, not to the number of reps.
Mountain Climbers: Control the speed; the goal is continuous movement, a steady duty.
Plank Hold: When your body screams, let your mind remind you: this is temporary discomfort. Hold steady.
Reverse Lunges (Alternating): Focus on stability. Wobbly movement is a failure of control.
Your commitment to your fitness is simply a commitment to maintain the reliable tool your mind uses for life, business, and fatherhood. Show up for your body today. Make The Choice to move!
